
The organizers of Anime Festival Asia 2014 has announced the first batch of cosplayers that are set to be guests for the highly-popular December event.
Highly-popular cosplayers Clive Lee, Hyko, Mon, Angie, Ying Tze, the duo of Hana and BaoZi and first-time cosplayer guest Kazumi Noomi were confirmed to attend Asia’s largest Japanese anime and pop-culture event.

Clive Lee is a prominent cosplayer who always does his near-perfect renditions of Gundam mecha costumes. He has been a cosplayer since 2001, and has also been invited to several conventions in Southeast Asia and has also judged in 20 events worldwide.
He has also been in the Philippines before, having been invited as a guest in Cosplay Mania ’11.

Angie is a Malaysian cosplayer who has done more than 100 characters since she started in 2008. She has a strong following on social media with more than 30,000 fans on her official Facebook page.

Hyko is a Taiwanese cosplayer since 1998. She became famous for her cosplay from GACKT and Angel Sanctuary, and also done cosplay from the recent anime titles Uta no Prince Sama and Free! Iwatobi Swim Club.

Mon also came from Taiwan and is noted for her different cosplay characters whatever the gender may be. She is currently ranked #6 on the Cosplay Social site WorldCosplay.com.

Malaysian cosplayer Ying Tze has been famous not just on her own home country but also from countries like Indonesia and Philippines, where she has visited as well. A Fashion design graduate, she makes sure that her costumes that she wears to wear fits over her. She is also a social media darling with 30,000 fans on her Facebook page.

The Chinese cosplay duo Baozi and Hana is a proof that two heads are better than one. Hana is more into propmaking while Baozi does the makeup for the duo. They have also judged cosplay events in their country and has been featured in Cosplay Magazines.

And finally, First time guest Kazumi Noomi is a Taiwanese cosplayer but has made inroads since her first cosplay in 2002. She has done cosplays in Taiwan and Japan. She has done 200 characters under her credit.
More Asian and international cosplayers & guest will be announced in the coming days, as well as activities that lined-up on the entire floor of the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Anime Festival Asia 2014 will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore from December 05-07, 2014, which is organized by Sozo Pte. Ltd., Zapp Live and Dentsu.
