SM Cinema has told Anime Pilipinas that seven (7) more locations will be added to the screening of the latest film in the highly-popular Detective Conan franchise, Detective Conan: Dimensional Sniper, this Thursday, October 08.
This is in addition to the eight (8) other theaters in Metro Manila that will screen the upcoming movie, which include SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA and SM Marikina.
The additional SM Cinema branches will be SM Center Valenzuela, SM City Dasmariñas (Cavite), SM City Calamba (Laguna), SM City Baliwag (Bulacan), SM City San Fernando (Pampanga), SM City Tarlac (Tarlac Province), and SM City Cauayan (Isabela).
SM Cinema also mentioned a certain “SM Cagayan”, but Anime Pilipinas is still confirming whether it refers to SM City Cagayan de Oro or another branch.
Detective Conan: Dimension Sniper is directed by Kobun Shizuno, who also directed the previous movie adaptations as well as the popular anime series Knights of Sidonia, and screenplay is written by Kasunari Kouchi, who also worked on previous Detective Conan adaptations.
Shuichi Akai is targeted by a mysterious sniper and Masumi Sera is shot. Tokyo is in panic, citizens are taken in by the shooting of a sniper. Nothing is known about him. Why was Sera targeted? The movie premiered in Japan last April 19, which was on the Japanese box office until June. It was also screened in other Asian countries, such as Taiwan and Malaysia.
