Video-streaming service Crunchyroll has announced two (2) additional titles for their fall line-up, which will be the supernatural comedy anime Gugure! Kokkuri-san and fantasy anime Celestial Method.

 A little girl named Kohina ends up summoning a Kokkuri-san, a lower-ranking ghost in Japanese folklore. The Kokkuri-san she calls ends up being a white-haired handsome, young man. Although he had intended to merely haunt her at first, he becomes worried about her terrible eating habit of cup ramen for every meal, so he decides to haunt her in order to protect her. (Synopsis from Anime News Network)

Gugure! Kokkuri-san is an anime adaptation of a is Japanese four-panel manga series by Midori Endo, which is being serialized in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine since 2011. The manga currently has seven (7) tankubon volumes.

The anime adaptation is directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike, who directed Amagami SS and Working!!, and character designs is handled by Miwa Oshima, who worked on Baka and Test – Summon the Beasts.

The casts are lead by Ryou Hirohashi (Aoi Yamada, Working!!) as Kohina Ichimatsu, Daisuke Ono (Sebastian Michaelis, Black Butler) as Kokkuri-san, Jouji Nakata (Nyanta, Log Horizon) as Shigaraki, and Takahiro Sakurai (Suzaku Kururugi, Code Geass series) as Inugami.

 

The first episode premieres on Sunday, October 05, at 07:05pm GMT for premium users, while free users can watch the episode a week later.

The title is available for internet users in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America.

Celestial Method is an original anime series written and created by Naoki Hisihaya, who also created the supernatural manga Sola. The anime is directed by Masayuki Sakoi, who also directed the anime Princess Ressurection, and produced by Infinite.

The cast are lead by Inori Minase (Chino Kafuu, Is the order a rabbit?) as Noel, Shiina Natsukawa (Kanna Utsugi, Witch Craft Works) as Nonoka Komiya.

 

The first episode premieres on Sunday, October 05, at 02:30pm GMT for premium users, while free users can watch the episode a week later.
