Eight artistes have been confirmed to date, with more expected to be finalised closer to date, as part of the I Love Anisong Mega Anime Music Festival. They include a mix of returning anisong veterans as well as up-and-coming artistes, for an aural and visual extravaganza.

Bringing the best of curated content to South-east Asia, through Singapore
Anime Festival Asia 2014 in Singapore will be jointly organised by Japanese partners Dentsu Inc & Zepp Live Inc, and Singapore-based organiser SOZO. The festival also lends support from partner company Crooner. The festival saw over 80,000 local and overseas visitors with over 150 exhibitors in 2013. This year, attendees can look forward to all three components of the festival – concerts, exhibition and the main stage activities, filled with exciting activities during each of the three days.

“We are seeing strong excitement and interest in the Japanese popular culture scene at a regional level, we believe the J-Wave is back, as elements of Anime and J-pop are increasingly making its way to our shores. AFA 2014 will be our 11th festival since 2008, and we are proud to have led the way in promoting and bridging high quality original Japanese Popular Culture content from top industry players, with youths, families, and lovers of Japanese Popular Culture across South-east Asia. AFA 2014 in Singapore will be our biggest, yet we are very excited at the tremendous amount of quality content we have in store for our customers this year,” said Anime Festival Asia’s Executive Festival Director and SOZO’s Founder and Managing Director Shawn Chin.
