Trailer release comes just days before July 05 premiere.
Japanese animation studio Aniplex has released a new trailer for Sword Art Online II on Sunday, just days before its upcoming premiere on July 05.
The second season of the highly popular Sword Art Online franchise will cover the third arc titled “Phantom Bullet” as adapted from the original light novel series by Reki Kawahara.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will reprise his role as the lead protagonist Kirito from the first anime series, while Miyuki Sawashiro will also reprise her role as Sinon from the Playstation Portable video game Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment.
Tomohiko Ito will return to direct the new anime series, while Shingo Adachi will also return to handle character designs. It will be produced by Aniplex’s A-1 Pictures.
The Anime Expo event in Los Angeles, California will hold a special screening of the first episode on Friday, July 04, which will be attended by Kawahara and illustrator abec.
