4k Media looking for international distributors of the third movie in the franchise.

A new Yu-Gi-Oh! movie is currently in production in Japan, international distributor 4K Media Inc. confirmed on Tuesday.

Although no expected premiere date was cited, the company is now looking for a company to distribute the film outside of Asia.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters back to theater screens for their enthusiastic fan base,” senior vice president of 4K Media Kristen Gray tells Anime News Network.

This would be the third movie in the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game franchise after Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Movie in 2004 and Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time in 2010 which featured the main characters of Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s first three anime series. Both films have been aired on the Tagalog-language anime channel HEROtv.
