British Video-on-Demand service ANIMAX, not to be confused with its Southeast Asian counterpart, has announced on their website that they will add five (5) new anime titles throughout the spring season.
The simulcast titles are the sci-fi anime Daimidaler: Prince Vs. Penguin Empire, action-drama anime Riddle Story of Devil, psychological anime Selector Infected Wixoss and the romantic-comedy anime Dragonar Academy.
The highly-popular anime series Fairy Tail is also set to premiere on the service.
Daimidaler: Prince Vs. Penguin Empire
In order to fight against the mysterious “Penguin Empire” from interfering world peace, secret organization “Prince Beauty Parlor” has developed a giant robot that powered by a rare special energy source called “Hi-ERo particles.” Organization member Kyouko Sonan has located an ordinary high school student Kōichi Madanbashi with high amount of Hi-ERo particles within his body, making him a suitable candidate for the pilot of the giant robot, but there is only one way to release it: allow Madanbashi to harass her with lewd behavior. Riddle Story of the Devil
The “Class Black,” 10th Grade of Myoujou Academy is composed of 12 assassins disguised as students and one target: Haru Ichinose. Fully aware of being the prey, Ichinose vows to survive assassination attempts and graduate from the school alive. One of the assassins, Tokaku Azuma, has started building up feelings for Ichinose and switched side to become her protector. Selector Infected Wixoss
WIXOSS is a card game that’s popular with teenagers. Supposedly there exist “LRIG Cards,” female character cards with wills of their own. Special girls can hear the voices of the LRIGs, and those who possess them are called “Selectors.” These Selectors have card battles in a dimension that other humans cannot access. It’s said that whoever triumphs in these battles will have their wish granted. Ruko Kominato is the latest girl to find a LRIG card. Dragonar Academy
Ash is a student at Ansalivan Dragon Academy, attended by children who have formed contracts with dragons. He possesses the “star mark,” the sign of a contract, but since his partner hasn’t been born yet, he seems insignificant. In conjunction with the new simulcast titles, the video-on-demand service also announced that they will be dropping their standard monthly subscription rate to £4.99, which is a pound lower from before. The new rate will be available for both new & existing subscribers.
Subscribers can now see simulcast titles one (1) week exclusively before non-subscribers.
