Concert to be held at the Resorts World Sentosa on September 27.


Japanese singer, songwriter and seiyuu Nana Mizuki has personally announced on her concert tour’s Facebook page that she will hold her first solo concert for her Singaporean fans at the Resorts World Theatre in Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore on September 27.

“Since my performance at (Anime Festival Asia) last September, I was always hoping that someday I could hold a solo live concert in Singapore,” Mizuki says in her video message as translated from Japanese.

 

The video’s description says that the concert will be organized by Amuse Entertainment Singapore, and that “[ticketing] details will be released at a later date.”

Mizuki has previously held her first overseas concerts in Taiwan back in November last year as part of her Nana Mizuki Live Circus 2013 tour.

 

Nana Mizuki is a popular J-pop singer known for performing the theme songs of various anime series such as Magical Girl Lyrical NanohaBlood-C, Rosario+Vampire and Valvrave the Liberator.

She is also widely renowned as an anime voice actor, with roles in Naruto as Hinata Hyuuga, Blood-C as Saya Kisaragi, the first Fullmetal Alchemist series as Wrath, and Ragnarok the Animation as Yufa, among others.

 

Mizuki was recently awarded Rookie of the Year by Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs for her contributions in the world of music and anime, proclaiming her “a revolutionary presence in the history of voice acting.”
