Highly popular Action-Adventure anime first premiered on Free TV in October 2011.
Philippine terrestrial network GMA Network has announced through a television advertisement on Thursday that the second season of the highly popular anime Fairy Tail is set to premiere this Monday, June 2nd.
The program airs Monday to Friday mornings, right after InuYasha & before Slam Dunk, on the “Astig Authority” weekday anime block.

Continuing the action in Fairy Tail, the magical adventure gets more exciting and explosive! After Natsu defeated Laxus at the close of the first season, the anime enters the “Nirvana” story arc as six powerful wizards attempt to unseal a powerful spell to bring destruction. Fans can expect new characters including dragon slayer Wendy Marvell and her cat companion Charle to join the fray. (Synopsis from ANIMAX)
The series is set to continue from Episode 49, and is expected to air about 50 episodes.
Fairy Tail first premiered on Philippine television through the Pan-regional anime channel ANIMAX Asia on September 30, 2010 in English-dubbing, and the second season premiered on February 2012. They have recently aired its fourth season, as well as the movie Fairy Tail: The Phoenix Priestess on March 2013.
The first season of Fairy Tail premieres on GMA Channel 07 on October 31, 2011 in Filipino-dubbing, and was re-aired on the channel about two (2) times. It recently aired on the Filipino-language Asian entertainment channel TeleAsia on August 23 last year.
