Good news for Kuroko’s Basketball fans as the anime has been recently been given the renewal slip.
According to an advertisement on the 27th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, the hit basketball anime has been given a new season and the production of it has been green-lit.
Details about when will the third season air plus other information will be released in future issues of the Shueisha-published magazine.
The second season of the anime was premiered in October and has concluded its run in April with a cliffhanger ending. The first season was aired from April to September of 2012.
In the Philippines, ABS-CBN Channel 02 first aired the Anime on April 2013 as part of their “Team Animazing” block, while cable sibling Hero TV aired the anime a month later.
No word yet on whether the terrestrial network has been given the green light to air the second season.
