Knights of Sidonia, Tonari no Seki-Kun continues its simulcast airing next month.


Pan-regional anime channel ANIPLUS Asia is set to premiere the school-themed comedy anime Chronicles of the Going Home Club this June.

This addition is on top of the simulcast airing of the comedy anime Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time and the sci-fi anime Knoghts of Sidonia which continues next month.

The story follows a group of high school girls who are in the ‘Going-Home Club’. Freshman Natsuki Andou has no intention of joining an after-school club, but accidentally joins when she refers to “Going Home Club” as not joining any clubs. The club consist of three seniors: Sakura Doumyouji, Botan Oohagi and Claire Kokonoe, and is dedicated to having as much fun as possible before going home. Sakura Domyoji – whose inheritance is her grandmother’s scissors; Botan Ohagi- whose family are heirs to the highly-guarded Hagizuki-ryuu martial arts style and who once wrestled a Brown Bear (And a Grizzly Bear, and Polar Bear); and Claire Kokonoe-who’s the daughter of a company executive and almost bought Karin a stationary store when the school store had run out of her favorite color of eraser.

Chronicles of the Going Home Club is an anime adaptation of an original manga seroes created by Kuroha, and serialized for Square Enix’s online publication Gang-Gang.

The series has been directed by Hikaru Sato, who also worked on titles like Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Jigoku Shoujo, and Nakaimo scriptwriter Go Zappa supervised the scripts. It is produced by anime studio NOMAD.

Chronicles of the Going Home Club premieres two (2) episodes back-to-back Every Tuesdays, starting June 03, at 08:00pm (07:00pm JKT). Encore presentation on Fridays 06:00pm (05:00pm JKT).

 

This season’s simulcast anime titles continues on Aniplus Asia, with Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time and Knights of Sidonia every Wednesday nights.

Tonari no Seku-kun: The Master of Killing Time airs Every Wednesday nights at 08:30pm (07:30pm JKT).

Knights of Sidonia airs Every Wednesday nights at 09:30pm (08:30pm JKT), with encore Every Saturday nights 08:30pm (07:30pm JKT).

 

For their special feature, ANIPLUS Asia is set to bring back-to-back episodes of Kids on the Slope for two (2) days this June.

Kaoru Nishimi is a high school freshman transfer to Kyushu’s local high school, he quickly falls for his classmate, Ritsuko Mukae, and also develops a grudging friendship with the school ruffian, Sentarou Kawabuchi. This leads to an unexpected new musical journey for the young man, who never had a sense of belonging with his absent parents. Although this beautiful and unusual anime series is devoted to jazz; music lovers or not should strike a note with it’s values, wit and humour, and will thoroughly enjoy this engaging and heart-warming story of the friendship between Kaoru and Sentarou.

Kids on the Slope airs on June 28 and 29, six (6) back-to-back episodes, from 08:00pm (07:00PM JKT).
