But WCSPH Project Head says nothing is final yet, Finals planned to be held in May.
A ranking officer of the World Cosplay Summit Philippines (WCSPH) team has revealed the possible date and venue of the Metro Manila qualifiers but has said that all of these are still in the planning stages
Tessa Villareal, WCSPH Project Coordinator, has announced publicly on her Facebook account that the venue of the planned NCR qualifiers will be held at the Resorts World Manila possibly around May of this year, a fact reinforced by the WCSPH’s own post that it may happen in the fourth week of the said month.
But Villareal said that they are still finalizing the details of the said event.
The choice of date and venue seemed auspicious, as it was the same venue and date where the Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention Kick-off and Press conference was held last year.
Earlier this year, the Mindanao Cosplay Summit has produced its representative for the National finals of the global cosplay tilt. Gladys Ayuste and Aldrin Cangayda were chosen as the Davao representatives for the tilt.
The World Cosplay Summit Philippines Finals is expected to be held in June of 2014.
