NANDA Collection World Tour by fashion socialite Kyary Pamyu Pamyu 2014 hits Singapore!

Singapore, 19 January 2014 – Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Japan’s one and only ‘Fashion Monster’, model, designer, singer, and blogger all in one is back in Singapore for her “Nanda Collection World Tour” on 21 June 2014 in Singapore! This is presented by SOZO under the Japan Music Festival platform.


About Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
At 21 years of age, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has already awed the Japanese public with her keen sense of style, having first come to fame as a fashion blogger and then as a model for Harajuku fashion magazines. After capturing fans nation-wide with her quirky looks and irresistible charm, she began to prove her talent in other areas, most notably in the line of music.

She debuted as a singer in July 2011 with her hit single, PONPONPON produced by Yasutaka Nakata (capsule and producer for hit electronic band, Perfume). The song was a viral hit on YouTube, and has since gained 59,373,800 views. The song also entered Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 chart at number 72 in July 2011 and topped iTunes’ electronic songs charts in Belgium and Finland.

She has since begun to receive increasing amounts of attention from the Western media, and has gained coverage from a variety of media, one such being television series such as Le Petit Journal, Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladef, and British radio station Monocle 24.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s second studio album, Nanda Collection was released on June 26 2013. reaching the top of the weekly Oricon charts and selling over 400 thousand copies. In the same year, she performed for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Japan Awards, where she was also the recipient of the awards for Best Pop Video and Best Karaoke and was nominated for Best New International Pop Artist by Fuse TV and Best Japan Act at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards.

In 2014, with the theme of evolving into “Super Kyary Pamyu Pamyu”, she held a solo concert at Yokohama Arena on January 18 and 19, 2014, and will be embarking on her second world tour, starting from February in Seattle, USA. Her 8th single, “Yume no Hajimarinrin” will also be released on February 26, 2014.


The KPP NANDA Collection World Tour 2014 marks Kyary’s second concert in Singapore. She will be performing in USA, Australia, Hong Kong, France, Germany, United Kingdom, and Taipei before arriving in Singapore for the penultimate leg of the tour. The tour’s final stop is in Thailand.
