Anime Pilipinas has learned that the Regional anime channel Aniplus Asia HD will add two (2) additional “simulcast” titles, which this February.
The two “simulcast” anime titles are the idol-themed Wake Up, Girls! and the comedy anime Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time (which will be known by the title Seki-kun Next to You).
The titles follow the first season of Oreimo and “simulcast” title Hozuki no Reitetsu, which will also premiere next month.

Wake Up, Girls! is an anime series created & directed by Yutaka “Yamakan” Yamamoto, who worked on titles like Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, while scripts are supervised by The Idolm@ster scriptwriter Touko Machida, and character designs by Sunao Chikaoka, who worked on titles like AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day and Black Rock Shooter OVA. The anime is produced by Ordet & Tatsunoko Productions, and music is produced by DIVE II Entertainment.
Wake Up, Girls! premieres on Wednesday, February 05, at 09:00pm SGT (08:00pm BKK/JKT). Encore telecast every Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 05:00pm SGT (04:00pm BKK/JKT).
Seki-kun Next to You

Tonari no Seki-kun: The Master of Killing Time is the anime adaptation of the manga series Tonari no Seki-kun, written & illustrated by Takuma Morishige. Started off as a one-shot manga in 2010, and then serialized on Media Factory magazine Comic Flapper in November of the same year. It is on-going, and has five (5) volumes.
The 10-minute per-episode anime is directed by Yuji Motoh, who also directed the 13th, 14th, and 15th movie adaptation of the comedy anime Crayon Shin Chan, and character designs by Masae Outake, who is the animation director of the ATASHIn’CHI movie adaptation. Produced by Shin-Ei Animation.
Seki-kun Next to You premieres on Wednesday, February 12, at 08:30pm SGT (07:30pm BKK/JKT). Encore telecast every Saturday & Sunday afternoons at 02:30pm SGT (01:30pm BKK/JKT).
