Anime Pilipinas has learned that the Philippine cable TV provider SKYcable has added the Japanese anime channel ANIMAX Philippines as a part of the provider’s “Select” package.
According to SKYcable, subscribers can add the channel on top of their basic package for PhP50 per month, but only available for subscribers in Metro Manila.
When asked on when will it be available for subscribers in nearby areas, such as the “CAMANAVA” areas & Rizal province, they said that it may be available in a later time.
In a related story, we have also learned that the cable provider has also added the ABS-CBN’s Creative Programs, Inc. (CPI) channels on the “Select” package.
CPI channels are composed of the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), sports channel Balls, Filipino-language movie channel Cinema One, Filipino-language news channel DZMM Teleradyo, Women’s lifestyle & entertainment channel Lifestyle Network, Nostalgia channel Jeepney TV, and the Filipino-language anime channel HEROtv.
Subscribers can add the channels on top of their basic package for PhP20 per month per channel, except for Cinema One which will cost PhP50 per month. It is applicable for SKYcable’s “Dual-def Titanium 30” and “Dual-def Titanium 40” subscribers.
