Pop-culture event organizer Cosplay.ph has announced on Tuesday that Japanese singer Kanako Ito will be added to the I Love Anisong artist line-up during Cosplay Mania this October.
She will join previously announced performers BACK-ON, Starmarie, Shiena Nishizawa and Riho Iida.
Kanako Ito is a Japanese singer known for singing theme songs from games and anime, who made her debut as a singer with the single “Reichin Rin’inshan” for the anime Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer in 2002.
She is also known for singing theme music for the School Days franchise, as well as games like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri, Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes. She also sung themes for anime shows like Please Twins!, Myself;Yourself and Dramatical Murder.
She had previously appeared in events like Anime Festival Asia in Singapore, as well events in the United States.
Cosplay Mania ’16 is happening on October 1-2, 2016 at the SMX Convention Center – Manila, inside the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
